To prepare for Heaven, we must also be ready for the world.

At Heavenly International School, our mission is to prepare students for the challenges of the world while instilling Christian values in them. Beyond mastering languages, our students develop a global vision that equips them to engage with diversity, lead with empathy, and act responsibly in various cultural contexts.

International formation is a fundamental pillar that shapes our crest, symbolizing each student's holistic journey—intellectual, spiritual, human, and social. In an increasingly interconnected and challenging world, we nurture our students' desire to serve with excellence wherever they go.

“Education must help people open themselves to the world and to society, without fear of losing their own identity.”

—Pope Francis

Multicultural Education from the Early Years

From an early age, our students engage in a multicultural approach that values their national culture while integrating global perspectives. We celebrate the richness of diversity through cultural holidays, immersion projects, exploration of different worldviews, and exposure to various traditions. This prepares our children to grow as global citizens who are firmly rooted in their faith.

Heavenly utilizes the IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum), created by the International Curriculum Association (ICA). This curriculum is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 5 years old and emphasizes hands-on experiences and active learning. The IEYC encourages the holistic development of children by engaging their emotional, social, physical, and cognitive aspects, all while fostering international awareness from an early age.

In Elementary School, our students follow the IPC (International Primary Curriculum), also developed by the International Curriculum Association (ICA). Targeted at children aged 5 to 11, this curriculum blends academic rigor with personal development through integrated thematic units. It promotes active learning, reflection, and meaningful connections across various fields of knowledge, all with a global perspective.

Exchange Programs

Our students have the opportunity to choose where they would like to study abroad, and we provide support throughout the entire process. We also recommend partner schools within the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) network as trusted options.

Each experience is meticulously planned to promote academic, emotional, and spiritual development in a safe and enriching environment.

“The world is our mission field. Christ does not call us to safety but to encounter.”

— Saint Teresa of Calcutta

Trilingual Education

Beginning in Middle School, we offer a trilingual curriculum in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. This program emphasizes communication skills, critical thinking, and intercultural understanding. In High School, Spanish becomes an elective, further expanding linguistic and academic opportunities for access to international universities.

Dual Certification: American Diploma

In partnership with WorldEd, our students have the opportunity to pursue dual certification, earning both the Brazilian diploma and the U.S. High School Diploma. This unique pathway strengthens their academic credentials and opens doors to prestigious universities, scholarships, and professional opportunities worldwide.

Partnership with ISA: International Schools Association

We are proud members of ISA, the first educational NGO recognized by UNESCO. This organization promotes peace, freedom, equality, and intercultural understanding through education.

As an ISA member school, we have access to:

  • - Youth leadership projects, such as the Youth Leadership Encounter
  • - International curricula focused on Peace and Sustainability Education, aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • - Institutional recognition through awards like the Best Practice Scheme
  • - Global collaborations with initiatives like WIMUN and WFUNA’s Mission Possible program

Additionally, we benefit from the support of international consultants who guide us through self-assessment processes, helping to strengthen our identity as a genuinely international school while never losing sight of our Christian roots.

“The Church is universal by nature. Every Christian is called to bring the Gospel to all peoples, cultures, and languages, being a bridge rather than a wall.”

—Pope Benedict XVI

We form to go beyond. We prepare for the world. We prepare for Heaven.

.
At Heavenly, our mission is to cultivate citizens of the world with their roots in Heaven. Young people are prepared to engage in dialogue, lead, serve, and transform their communities.
